Reviews

Our ministry was fruitless for the first 4 years or so.  We held programs and spent a lot of money on them. Things would go well for a short while but soon the church service and the believers themselves would grow cold. We were not satisfied and we were getting tired. At this time, we were introduced to the Victorious Christian Life prayer ministry. We were very surprised to when we saw this prayer ministry first-hand. We introduced the teaching and prayer ministry in our ministry place, and through this we were very happy to see people becoming one with Christ. It takes time and concentration to spend a few hours listening and praying with each person with each person however, we didn’t get tired because were glad to be helping people to find peace and healing from God. Praise be to God, He is the reason for all this.” Sept 2025

“Many things have been going on in my life, hidden from other people. By going through the ‘Victorious Christian Life’ teaching online, I have discovered that some of these things are sin which I had not realised before.  As I have been repenting and forgiving about specific issues in my life, I have been healed of severe pain in my back and legs. The pain had been so bad that I was unable to walk properly!  That pain has gone and I believe I have been healed. I have also spent a lot of money and effort on self-development but now I realise that it is only God’s word an His power that can bring change and personal development to our lives.  Truly transforming.”July 2022

“We used the work-book on with a group. We all read it together and discussed it, looking up the Bible passages as we went. We prayed through the prayers too.  We felt Gods presence as we worked through the work-book. People became very open with each other and shared deeply from their hearts.  Then we were able to pray together on a new and more meaningful level. Each one felt a spiritual release.  We highly recommend it! ” September 2017

VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIFE

Equipping and empowering every Believer to do what God has created them for.

Repentance and Forgiveness

”…then times of refreshing will come…”
– Acts 3:19

Repentance and forgiveness are two gifts that God gives to us – they enable us to get right with God and right with others and this draws us into a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Some people try very hard to forget things they have done, or incidents they have experienced, in the past, that hurt them. They reason that ‘positive thinking’ can help them to be free. But the Bible says that nothing can wash away sin except the blood of Jesus. Once we have prayed a specific prayer of repentance or forgiveness the sin will have been dealt with (washed away) and we won’t have to try to forget it any more.

Repentance

– Is to turn away from our own selfish habits and turn towards God

– In order to repent we must first be convicted that what we have done is sinful. The Holy Spirit will do this for us and it may manifest as a deep feeling that what we did was wrong.

– After conviction of our sin we can confess it to God by speaking it out, and ask Him to forgive us. It is important to be specific by naming the sin we are confessing and detailing the consequences of it on us and on others. We should want to stop doing those sins we have confessed.

Every Christian needs to repent at some time in their lives Many of us might think that we have repented, but if we have truly repented, those old worldly habits would no longer have a hold on us.

Jesus’ first message at the start of His ministry was about repentance (Mark 1:15); He talked about repentance and led people to repentance throughout His ministry on earth and his last recorded message in the Bible includes messages of repentance to the churches (Revelation 2 and 3).

“It is not His will that anyone should perish, but that all would repent of their sin and turn to Him.” 2 Peter 3:9

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is about releasing the person who has sinned against us from the debt they owe us, even the debt of saying ‘sorry’ to us.

– Unforgiveness hurts us in many ways; it can ‘eat us up’ and even cause sickness and body-pain.

– Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping someone else will suffer!

Jesus often spoke about forgiveness in financial terms, such as the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35: if we have been forgiven much, we also must forgive much.

Forgiveness was a costly thing for Jesus. It cost Him his life. He died to pay for our sins so that we might enjoy eternal life with Him. In honour of Him, we must forgive those who sin against us.

There is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood.”   Hebrews 9:22

Read more about repentance and forgiveness by downloading and reading the Victorious Christian Life work-book. When we apply it to our own lives we will know and feel the difference.

Healing

I am the Lord who heals you.
– Exodus 15:26

Jesus is the healer.

In the Bible, everyone who came to Jesus was healed and He is still healing people today.

If you want to be physically healed, you can ask Jesus to heal you. You can speak to the body part that needs healing, place your hands on the body part and say “BE HEALED, IN JESUS’ NAME”!

You can call the elders of the church and ask them to anoint you with oil and pray for your healing.

The Bible tells us that we are spiritual beings – we are comprised of SPIRIT, SOUL and BODY. Things that affect us spiritually also affect us physically. Because of this, physical healing is often linked to spiritual healing.

Unforgiveness is one major block to physical health.

From this website you can download the Victorious Christian Life work-book. Then you can read it and pray through any spiritual blocks or issues that are relevant to your life.

Many people have been healed from afflictions as they have prayed in this way.  These include:-

healing from deafness and dumbness,

ruptured ligaments reformed,

breast cancer disappeared,

back-pain healed,

bones re-aligned,

high blood pressure reduced to normal.

These miracles were done in Jesus name as people forgave and repented and asked Jesus to heal them.

Sometimes the healing is not instant but needs perseverance in prayer.

When we pray, we can have faith because Jesus promises to answer every genuine prayer.

JESUS IS THE HEALER – Jesus healed them all (Matthew 15:29-31)

JESUS TOOK OUR SICKNESS – By His stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5)

JESUS TOLD HIS BELIEVERS TO HEAL THE SICK – He gave His disciples power and authority to heal all diseases (Luke 9:1-2)

BELIEVERS ARE TO HEAL THE SICK – Believers will be able to place their hands on the sick and they will be healed (Mark 16:18)

CALL THE ELDERS TO PRAY – Believers are to call the elders to anoint the sick with oil and to pray for their healing (James 5:14)

JESUS HAS THE POWER TO DO ANYTHING – Jesus, through His mighty power, is able to accomplish infinitely more than we can ask imagine (Ephesians 3:20)

PRAY IN JESUS NAME – Jesus said “Ask for anything in My name and I will do it” (John 14:14)

It is important to consider why you want to be healed. How will your healing affect your response to Jesus?  When you are healed, what will you do for Jesus?
Here’s a question for you!

Liberty from Money Problems

The Lord is my shepherd, I have all that I need.
– Psalm 23:1

Many people have money problems or are burdened with debt. But Jesus came to give us life in ABUNDANCE!

The Bible has much to teach us about money, debt, and abundance. The main issue is not so much about money but about LORDSHIP, namely who or what is LORD of our lives?

Some ways in which we can show that Jesus is Lord over our lives is to follow the Bible’s instructions about Tithes and Offerings.

Tithes

The tithe is 10% of all the income we earn or receive. We are to give this to our ‘home’ church (the place where we are spiritually fed).

Most people with money problems do not think they can afford to tithe. They think that only when they are better off financially will they start to tithe. But the Bible says ‘Give and it will be given to you’. So if we don’t first give, if we don’t first tithe, we may not get to that better financial situation.

God is looking at our hearts. He wants us to tithe to honour Him, not because we want to get rich or have a comfortable life.

Offerings

Offerings are our gifts over and above our 10% tithe.

We can offer money, time, effort – whatever we have – we offer it to God to bless Him.

Our offerings can be in meeting other people’s needs, in supporting gospel work or as gifts to honour the ministry that other people are doing.

As we give, we will discover that “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35).

Seed Faith

Give God your best. God will multiply back to you whatever you give Him – whether it is love, faith, money or any other good thing that you offer to Him. He wants to give you a miracle right now! (Oral Roberts, Miracles of Seed-faith, 1982)

PUT YOUR TRUST IN JESUS – Godliness with contentment is great wealth (1 Timothy 6:6-19)

BE GENEROUS – We should fear NOT being generous (James 5:1-6)

AVOID DEBTS – We should owe nothing to anyone (Romans 13:6-8)

HELP THE POOR – Lending to the poor is lending to God: He will repay you! (Proverbs 19:17)

SUPPORT MISSION – People supported Jesus’ ministry! (Luke 8:1-3)

Forgotten Factors

GETTING frEE
Many people have struggles in life, not knowing that by identifying the roots and by using the correct ‘key’, the Lord Jesus sets us free. Only when our ‘prison’ door is open can we walk in true freedom.
Some of the forgotten factors in our lives might be:

– NEGATIVE WORDS spoken over us by other people or by ourselves;

– CONDEMNING JUDGEMENTS we have made towards other people;

– UNGODLY TIES that bind us to other people or things;

– INHERITANCE issues from our ancestors.

FREEDOM FROM NEGATIVE WORDS

God created light when He said: “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3).  God made everything by His word – and we are made in His image. Our words have the power of life and death, therefore we need to be careful about what we think and say. It may be that negative words we have spoken over ourselves or that others have spoken over us are acting like a curse over our lives.

If you think this is a possibility, read the ‘Freedom from Negative Words’ section in the Victorious Christian Life work-book then respond in prayer: then experience the joy of Jesus setting you free.

RESCUE FROM CONDEMNING JUDGEMENTS
Sky

“In the way that you judge, you will be judged” (Matthew 7:1-2) is a ‘rule’ that applies to our lives whether we realise it or not. When we notice a pattern occurring in our lives of something not going well for us, we may have previously judged someone for doing that very same thing ourselves. We can condemn ourselves to do exactly the same thing we have judged others for doing! (Romans 2:1). Read the ‘Release from condemning judgements’ section in the Victorious Christian Life work-book then respond in prayer.  You will experience Jesus rescuing you from this pattern in your life.

RELEASE FROM UNGODLY TIES

Spiritual ties are formed in all our relationships with other people and often with the things that have been important to us. These ties can be Godly or ungodly. If we feel that something in our life is not right, for no obvious reason, or if we are haunted by recurring memories, we may be bound up by unseen, ungodly ties.

In the ‘Release from ungodly ties’ section of the Victorious Christian Life work-book, there is a detailed description of how to discern whether these ties have formed in our lives and how to pray specifically, asking Jesus to release us from them. When these ungodly ties are ‘cut’ we will feel an immediate release.

“The Lord is good, He has cut me free from the ropes of the ungodly” Psalm 129:4

RECOVERY OF DIVINE INHERITANCE
Flight

We all inherit things from our parents but sometimes sin damages the inheritance that God intended us to receive from them. In the Victorious Christian Life work-book there is a detailed description of how to discern whether our inheritance has been damaged and how to pray specifically, asking Jesus to restore our divine inheritance.

Bible Studies

There are three different Bible studies on this web-site for you to download and use for personal study or to use in small groups to jointly study and discuss.

There is a short Bible study called ‘Getting Right’. The download link for this is above in the section on Repentance and Forgiveness.

There is a short Bible study on ‘MONEY’. The download link for this is above in the section on money issues.

There is a more in-depth Bible Study on the basics of the Christian faith:

The Basics Bible study

To quote from the Life Application notes from 2 Peter 1:12-17 – “Outstanding coaches constantly review the basics of the sport with their teams and good athletes can execute the fundamentals consistently well. In our spiritual lives we must not neglect the basics of our faith when we go on to study deeper truths. Just as an athlete needs constant practice, we need constant reminders of the fundamentals of our faith and of how we came to believe in the first place. Don’t allow yourself to be bored or impatient with the messages of the basics of the Christian life. Instead, take the attitude of an athlete who continues to practice and refine the basics even as he learns more advanced skills.”

So let us take the attitude of an outstanding coach and encourage others to understand and constantly review the basics of the Christian faith too.  Why not start with ‘The Basics’ Bible study today : )
